What is meant by ‘animal rights’?
PETA says:
"Animal rights means that animals deserve certain kinds of consideration—consideration of what is in their own best interests regardless of whether they are cute, useful to humans, or an endangered species and regardless of whether any human cares about them at all. It means recognising that animals are not ours to use—for food, clothing, entertainment, or experimentation."

WSPA aims to promote the protection of animals, to prevent cruelty to animals, and to relieve animal suffering in every part of the world.
